Integrated subject

 Why do we integrate studies?

Integrated studies, sometimes call interdisciplinary studies, brings together diverse discipline in a comprehension manner, enabling students to develop a meaningful understanding of the complex associates and influences within the topic. Integrated studies allow students to have a deeper understanding of the course subject matter and how to apply the material that they have learned in the classroom in a real-world situation Students also learn a lot of things In Urdu

Urdu:

The students learned about natural things in Pakistan and where they are found, such as قدرتی وساایل which was the most interesting topic related to nature. For more information and understanding we went to the zoo and there we used the method of learning integrated studies for the development and interests of children in studying.

How was our journey in doing integrated subjects?

we first were confused but as time went on, we started to understand this method this method was new to us and was never taught in Pakistan. In Integrated subjects, we integrated English, math, science, and Urdu. In math, we integrated science through some questions. the first question states " is each and every material on earth explored?" we learned that the sea floor of the earth has been mapped but only 5 percent of it and excluding the dry land, which. leaving only 65 percent unexplored. In another question, we learned that the universe is physically not a mathematical entity but we also learned that mathematics enables us to quantitatively describe the universe.

How is the integration better than in normal studies?

Integrated curriculums allow students to have a deeper understanding of the course subject matter and how to apply the material that they have learned in the classroom in a real-world situation. This ultimately helps prepare them for their future studies, career, and life in general. this gives you a better understanding than normal studies.

Benefits of integration of subjects:

1: developing self-awareness.

2: using academic theory in real life.

3: Develop practical skills.

We integrated Islamiat and Pak studies. We have done questions such as:

“How successful were the religious thinkers in spreading Islam in the subcontinent during the 18th and 19th centuries?”.

We learned that Islam was widely spread in subcontinents by Shah Wali Ullah, Syed Ahmed Shaheed, Barelvi, and haji Shariat Ulla.
